BPO.MP JOIN DONG A UNIVERSITY’S ANNUAL CAREER FAIR 2024

On April 12, Dong A University hosted the 2024 Career Fair, featuring the participation of over 70 enterprises that signed cooperation agreements and conducted on-site student recruitment interviews.

Marking its 16th annual edition and held just ahead of the university’s graduation ceremony, the 2024 Career Fair welcomed representatives from the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; the Small and Medium Enterprise Association; the Hai Chau Business Association; the Da Nang Software Business Association; along with domestic and FDI enterprises from across Central Vietnam, and a large number of student candidates from the university.

This year’s Career Fair drew more than 3,000 student registrations and interview participations across 58 direct recruitment booths. With 6,510 job vacancies offered by 72 participating companies, the 2024 edition also recorded the highest number of corporate participants and job openings compared to previous fairs.

“The Career Fair serves as a crucial link in the cooperative model developed within the ecosystem of university – student – enterprise,” shared Mr. Lương Minh Sâm, Chairman of the University Council at Dong A University. “It is a place where businesses identify and select suitable talent, where students showcase their expertise and potential, and where the university connects and provides job opportunities for its graduates.”

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Đăng Hoàng, Director of the Da Nang Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, highly praised Dong A University for organizing the 2024 Career Fair. He also acknowledged the active participation of businesses, which has significantly contributed to the city’s key programs, especially the “5 No’s” and “3 Yes’s” initiatives. In particular, the event supports the “Yes to Employment” program and the city’s 2024 job placement targets.

He also noted, “The 2024 Career Fair clearly demonstrates the commitment, responsibility, and deep concern of Dong A University toward its students—ranging from admissions and training to job placement and career connection. This is evidenced by the collaboration with 72 recruiting enterprises, including 58 companies participating directly and 14 others providing job postings for various positions through different recruitment methods.”
