The forum “Some Suggestions on Digital Transformation and the Competitiveness of Da Nang City in the Near Future” was organized by the City’s Young Officials Club. It featured Professor Paul Cheung, Director of the Asian Competitiveness Institute and Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (Singapore), along with representatives from government agencies, enterprises, and universities in the city.
At the forum, BPO.MP had the opportunity to listen to Professor Paul Cheung’s insights on the trends, challenges, and opportunities of digital transformation across ASEAN in general, and in Da Nang in particular. He introduced digital competitiveness indices and frameworks, as well as key barriers and solutions to accelerate digital transformation. Notably, Professor Cheung also presented the development model of Singapore – a leading nation in the digital economy and IT.
BPO.MP actively engaged in discussions with members of the Young Officials Club and other participants, exchanging ideas and solutions for applying digital transformation to the public and private sectors. The company firmly believes that digital transformation is an unstoppable trend in the Industry 4.0 era and a crucial factor for enhancing Da Nang’s future competitiveness.

Forum on “Suggestions for Digital Transformation and the Competitiveness of Da Nang City in the Near Future”
The seminar “Expanding Business Opportunities with Canada under the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)” was held in Da Nang on August 4, 2023. The event was part of the series of activities at the East-West Economic Corridor – Da Nang 2023 International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair (EWEC – Da Nang 2023). The seminar aimed to support businesses in understanding key information about the CPTPP, particularly the commitments between Vietnam and Canada. It also provided insights into opportunities and challenges for Vietnamese businesses in the Canadian market, promoted trade and investment cooperation with Canada, and encouraged greater participation of Vietnamese enterprises in regional supply chains. The event welcomed experts, representatives from government agencies, trade organizations, and businesses from both countries. At the seminar, BPO.MP was updated with the latest information about the CPTPP, as well as the potential benefits it offers to Vietnamese companies. BPO.MP also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with Canadian businesses regarding its services, technologies, and solutions that could be introduced to the Canadian market.
