On Oct 22, 2019, Japan ICT Day 2019 was held in Ho Chi Minh City. Da Nang with the theme “Vietnam – Japan cooperation to promote digital transformation”. The program is coordinated by VINASA and VJC with the City People’s Committee. Da Nang co-organized under the auspices of other organizations and departments. Attending the event were over 300 Vietnamese – Japanese IT enterprises.
Da Nang is currently an IT center in the Central region, currently has over 3,800 businesses; in which, Vietnamese enterprises in the city area operating in the software industry, digital content and IT services account for a large number.
Speaking at the opening of Japan ICT Day 2019, Mr. Le Trung Chinh – Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People’s Committee, said: Da Nang has had a very good cooperation relationship with Japan, has now signed a cooperation agreement and twinning relationship with many Japanese cities such as Yokohama, Nagasaki and Kisarazu,… At present, Japan is a foreign investor with a large number of FDI projects in Da Nang….
