RED STAR AWARD 2022 HONORS FEMALE CEO PIONEERING IN THE BPO INDUSTRY

On November 8, 2022, the Red Star Award Ceremony – Outstanding Young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs 2022 – was held at the National Convention Center in Hanoi. During the ceremony, Ms. Ha Thi Dan Phuong – CEO of BPO.MP Co., Ltd – was honored with the prestigious Red Star Entrepreneur Award.

Red Star Entrepreneurs – “Shining Beacons” of a New Era

The Red Star Award has been running for 23 years and organized 11 times to recognize outstanding young entrepreneurs for their achievements in business and production activities.

In 2022, the Red Star Award Ceremony was once again held by the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to honor Red Star Entrepreneurs – the “shining beacons” of the 4.0 era. This year, the award criteria were renewed to align with the new generation of entrepreneurs. The evaluation focused on shared values and the contributions of young business leaders to society and the community.

Based on these criteria, CEO Ha Thi Dan Phuong was highly praised by the organizers and the evaluation council for her contributions and achievements. Throughout her entrepreneurial journey and business operations, Ms. Phuong has introduced many breakthrough ideas and stood out as a female CEO who dares to take on challenges and pioneer the BPO industry in Vietnam.

A Female CEO Ready to Embrace Change and Expand Her Vision

Ms. Phuong is a young CEO with a clear direction and remarkable acumen in the digital era. With a calm demeanor and a friendly, open communication style, she shared stories of ups and downs in her life and business journey. Her entrepreneurial path showcases her ambition, determination, and the tireless efforts that have led to MP BPO’s breakthrough success today.

Born and raised in Da Nang, Ms. Phượng previously worked in the tourism, restaurant, and hotel service sectors in Hoi An (Quang Nam). Recognizing new opportunities in the market and driven by personal passion, she moved to Ho Chi Minh City and entered the field of technology, document digitization, and digital transformation.

At that time, the BPO industry was still very new in Vietnam. Initially, 100% of MP BPO’s revenue came from overseas markets, mainly the UK and Japan.

Thanks to her sharp market insights and continuous efforts alongside her team, BPO.MP has now developed various distinct projects across multiple BPO service lines, including document digitization, data entry and processing, translation and interpretation, image processing, data labeling, talent sourcing, and more.

After five years of operation, BPO.MP Co., Ltd. now has 90 full-time staff and over 150 collaborators nationwide. Ms. Phượng also shared that BPO is currently a prominent member of the MP Group ecosystem. MP BPO’s projects consistently deliver cutting-edge and efficient solutions to businesses. Each new project announcement quickly garners investor interest due to its significant potential for value growth.

To keep up with the continuous evolution of the digital era, Ms. Phượng emphasized that MP.BPO’s core direction is to stay agile and aligned with the development trends of Industry 4.0. MP BPO will focus on high-potential markets that require specialized expertise to increase competitiveness both domestically and internationally.
